I’m Milad, an Associate Professor in FinTech, AI and Digital Technologies, a researcher, and the Founder of LayawayGo. My work sits at the intersection of FinTech, Agentic AI, Web3, digital innovation and technology commercialisation, combining academic research with applied innovation and venture building.
Over the past decade, I have worked across academia and industry, published 30+ research papers, developed FinTech-related intellectual property, and collaborated with established technology companies, financial institutions and startups. My current work focuses increasingly on Agentic AI, intelligent systems, digital finance, blockchain/Web3 and the commercialisation of emerging technologies.
This platform brings together my research, publications, ventures and applied projects, including work on AI-enabled financial services, digital platforms, Web3 and intellectual property strategy.

Bridging Academia and Industry
My work combines academic research, postgraduate education and technology entrepreneurship. In academia, I research and teach across FinTech, AI, Web3 and digital innovation. In industry, I develop and commercialise technology-based ventures and intellectual property, including LayawayGo and AI MatchBuy™. This combination allows me to explore emerging technologies not only as research topics, but also through their development, validation and application in real-world settings.
